Health Share of Oregon: Multimedia Outreach Materials

Health Share of Oregon was able to improve the communication gap for new and current members through accessible multilingual informational materials developed by Lara Media that aimed at improving members understanding of the full range of benefits available to them. Additionally, these tools supported plan partners and providers engagement efforts with the community helping further clarify benefits, differentiate Health Share from competitors and communicate updates.
Preschool for All: Multilingual Video Series
Bridging the information gap to ensure universal program access.
In partnership with Multnomah County, Lara Media Services developed a series of multilingual videos to promote Preschool for All. Available in 10 languages, these resources guide Portland parents through eligibility and applications, ensuring every family has the information they need to apply with confidence.
Alta / ODOT: Safe Routes to School
Advancing transportation equity through culturally responsive storytelling.
Our collaboration with ALTA focused on expanding Safe Routes to School's engagement with Spanish-speaking communities regarding active transportation for students. It included developing culturally responsive videos with content in English and Spanish for safety education and program promotion and developing a dedicated annual event with its corresponding toolkit to celebrate and foster active transportation participation.

Lara Media Services developed a multimedia toolkit for Oregon Health Authority to provide important updates to Oregonians regarding key enrollment changes on the Oregon Health Plan. This campaign focused on accessibility to ensure that Oregonians could find easy-to-understand information in their preferred language.
Rogue Farm Corps: Culturally Accessible Trainings

Rogue Farms Corps partners with many organizations across Oregon to offer agriculture education to aspiring farmers but had few success reaching the Latinx community. Lara Media presented culturally accessible trainings to help them improve their outreach efforts beyond just developing biligual materials and additionally promoted the benefits of incorporating culturally relevant materials into their practices to ensure participating Latinx members feel respected and welcomed.

The Oregon Health Authority and Lara Media developed a multilingual video for the Ombuds Program that is available to OHP members. These videos were accessible and easy to understand helping members know they are not alone when navigating their health care benefits. .

By providing scalable social media templates and a cohesive communication plan, we established a high-impact platform that empowers Vision Comunitaria to advocate for community well-being and lead collective growth.
