The Oregon Department of Transportation and Metro teamed up once again this year to bring the Drive Less Challenge to the residents of Oregon. This initiative challenged Oregonians from October 5th to October 18th to discover healthier and greener alternatives to travel to work, school, and anywhere people have to travel to by not using a car.
The challenge was designed to bring various benefits to the community such as creating a healthier lifestyle, saving money, and also it also brought benefits to the environment such as having cleaner air, less traffic, and a reduction of emissions.
It was imperative that the challenge reach many households in the state and Lara Media Services was brought into the project to help with the outreach to the Latino community.
With our experience we know that messages cannot be translated to Spanish and call it a day. Messages have to be built from scratch for the Latino community; thinking of their needs in order to resonate and have a successful outreach campaign.
Motion Graphics Video
With the impact social media marketing has today, we created a motion graphics spot that could easily be shared on Facebook and be watched by thousands of people It was very important to spread the word about the challenge and we created a motion graphics spot in both Spanish and English to connect to as many people as possible.
