Each year the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber hosts a free annual Employment and Business Fair at the Oregon Convention Center. Carlos Moreno explains the importance of attending to this event regardless of weather you are or you’re not looking for a job. Many of us underestimate the power of association, but the reality is that most job leads are acquired by networking. This is what he told us about his experience at one of these events .
“A few years ago I attended the Employment and Business Fair organized by the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber, not as a job seeker but as part of another organization looking to hire. I had the opportunity to interact with many qualified job seekers and in the process met and built working relationship with many professionals from other agencies. Those connections led me to my current position. The Employment and Business Fair provides a great avenue not only for active job seekers and business owners but for all, as we never know who we might encounter that could help open doors to a better tomorrow.” — Carlos Moreno
The Employment and Business Fair benefits everyone by providing the necessary tools to market yourself with the right people. Make sure to be a part of this amazing event in the future.
