Meet our new video production specialist: Fernando Castaneda.
Originally from San Salvador, Fernando Castaneda defines himself as a hard working person, and a lover of audiovisuals. When he was 19 years of age, he independently launched “La Barbacoa” -an internet portal dedicated to celebrities in Central America. In 2010 it became a magazine and the major reference of showbiz in the region, leading him to make media appearances and host a TV segment in El Salvador.
At 21, he was in charge of “Peluditos Perdidos”, which is a non-profit organization responsible for finding missing dogs and cats.
At age 23, after graduating in Film and Television at the School of Communications Monica Herrera, Fernando became the General Producer of the short film called “Ahorcado” and Production Assistant of the film “Malacrianza” from the Salvadoran filmmaker Arturo Menéndez. He used these experiences as motivators which lead him to start his own creative studio of audiovisuals. Fernando produces all kinds of videos for events, commercials, documentaries, art, tutorials, weddings, and other creative audiovisuals.
In May 2015 he arrived to Portland, OR in order to amplify his studies and experiences in the audiovisual field.
In his spare time, Fernando enjoys practicing yoga and extreme sports.
